We Deal With Volatile Service Users, What Happens If This Doesn't Work?
Our conflict resolution course is just  the first unit of our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) course.  In unit 2 we teach breakaway training and in unit 3 you will learn how to use restraint techniques in a positive manner.   

We strongly believe that if you can resolve conflict effectively using communication then there is never a need for a service user to grab you or for you to restrain them.  However, as part of your risk assessment and to meet the legal requirement of the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) you must provide your staff with suitable and sufficient training.
How Long Is My Certificate Valid For?
We certify your certificate for 3 year.  If you are participating in the breakaway and restraint training then we strongly recommend a refresher course every 12 months to ensure that your staff remain competent in their skills.

It's also essential to refresh to ensure that the techniques you are using are still appropriate for your setting.
